Avenumi
Privacy Policy
Effective September 21, 2026
This policy explains how Avenumi handles information when adult parents, family members, and caregivers use the app to keep shared child-care records.
Information Avenumi handles
- Account information, including Firebase user ID and name or email supplied by Apple or Google sign-in.
- Family membership, access role, relationship, display name, bundled avatar ID, and invitation state.
- Child profiles and family-entered feeding, breastfeeding, sleep, growth, care, medication, allergy, and note records.
- Subscription product, entitlement, status, plan, and expiration data. Apple processes payment details.
- Notification preferences and device push tokens when notifications are enabled.
- Crash and diagnostic data, including device, operating-system, app, stack-trace, and relevant app-state information.
- Local settings, pending writes, active sessions, and Firestore offline cache needed for app operation.
Avenumi does not include Firebase Analytics or an advertising SDK in the audited release and does not use collected information for cross-app advertising tracking.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and synchronize accounts, families, child profiles and care records; enforce access; calculate user-requested summaries; deliver enabled notifications; manage and restore Premium; create user-requested PDF exports; and diagnose crashes or service failures.
Family collaboration
Members of the same Avenumi family can access shared child and care information according to their role. Invitation links should be shared only with the intended recipient.
Service providers
- Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases, restoration, management, and refunds.
- Google Firebase for Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, and Crashlytics, and Google Sign-In for optional authentication.
- RevenueCat for subscription offering, entitlement, purchase, and restoration infrastructure using the Firebase user ID as its App User ID.
Avenumi requires service providers that access user data to protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable App Store requirements. Providers also process data under their own terms and privacy policies, potentially outside the user's country.
Notifications and exports
If notifications are enabled, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service process device tokens and delivery data. Notifications can be disabled in Avenumi or iOS Settings.
When a user creates an export, Avenumi generates a temporary PDF and opens the native iOS share sheet. The user chooses the destination. The app removes its temporary PDF after the share handoff and during account teardown, subject to normal operating-system behavior.
Retention and account deletion
Avenumi keeps account and shared family information while needed to provide the service. No fixed retention period is asserted.
Account deletion is available in Settings → Account and data → Delete account. An ordinary member's personal profile and membership are removed. Family-owned care facts remain, but direct author identity is dissociated from preserved records. A multi-member owner must transfer ownership first. A sole owner's family and nested records are deleted.
The flow also clears account-bound local state and then deletes the Firebase Authentication identity after cloud cleanup. Providers may retain transaction, diagnostic, security, or backup information under their own policies or legal obligations.
Deleting an Avenumi account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Subscription cancellation is managed separately in Apple subscription settings.
Security and children's information
Avenumi uses platform authentication, Firestore access rules, role-based permissions, and provider security controls. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Avenumi stores information about children entered by adults. It is not designed for children to create or manage accounts. Adults are responsible for having authority to add child information and invite family members.
Choices and contact
Users can edit supported information, control notifications, export selected information, manage family access where authorized, and delete their account. If the app cannot be accessed, email privacy@avenumi.com.
